Kindly follow the next steps:

  1. Have you submitted the Membership Form after 01/06/2017...?  If not, do so by clicking here.   
  2. Is your info outdated...? If so, submit the Update Form by clicking here. 
  3. Make the online payment for the permit application.

  4. The paid fees are absolutely non-refundable, nor transferable. Forestry Department does not allow us to make any name changes after the permit is issued.
  5. The payment gateway will be closed on Wednesday 15/05/2024 at 11:59pm. No payment on or before 15/05/2024 implies no participation.
  6. We don't send out confirmation e-mails. After we have received your payment we will manually change your status on Meetup to Paid. Kindly be patient.
  7. We will apply for a permit, only for those whose status in Meetup is Paid. 
  8. Click on the check mark on the event page to place yourself on the Attendees list.
  9. Those who have clicked Attending without having paid the fee, will be removed from the attendees list after 24 hours.
  10. Do you want to join the carpooling as a driver or a passenger...? If so, click here.  
  11. Save the mobile number of the event host in your phone. The number can be found in the carpooling e-mail.
  12. The coordinates of the meet-up place are 3.303013, 101.737333 - Google Maps: Kem Alang Sedayu - What3words ///dispose.front.plodded. 
  13. Park your car on the shoulder of the road. Make sure not to hinder anyone.  
  14. The meet-up time listed on the event page is the time that the hike starts. Be sure to reach the meet-up place at least 15 minutes prior to the meet-up time. The hike starts at 09:00am. 
  15. Make sure you have a gps navigation app (like ~in alphabetical order~ AllTrails (paid version), Gaia, Hiiker, Komoot, Maps.me, OSMAnd, Wikiloc,...) installed on your phone and make sure that it is working properly.
    If you don't have an app installed yet, we suggest to use Hiiker to start with. Once you have downloaded the offline map of Malaysia, you can easily import and navigate any gpx file.

  16. Do not come to the venue:
    • if you do not have MySejahtera installed on your mobile phone
    • if your MySejahtera status is any other than "Low Risk" or "Casual Contact Low Risk"
    • if your body temperature is above 37 degrees Celsius
    • if you have flu like symptoms
    • if you are awaiting the results of a recently performed Covid-19 test
    • if you are a close contact of a person who tested positive for Covid-19 within the last 14 days
    • if you are a Person Under Surveillance or a Person Under Investigation concerning Covid-19
  17. Scan the registration QR code at the venue and check-in online once you arrive. Change to your hiking clothes afterwards.
  18. Show your health status as displayed in MySejahtera to the organiser.
  19. Attend the briefing and follow the given instructions and advice.
  20. Respect federal and local SOPs at all time.
  21. At the meet-up point you might meet people you haven't met since the outbreak of Covid-19. Protect yourself and others by wearing a face mask...!
  22. Keeping a physical distance is encouraged. 
  23. Ensure personal hygiene measures before, during and after the hike. Certainly do not spit.  
  24. Respect the mandatory cut-off times as indicated in the likely schedule. Otherwise a RM20.00 penalty will be imposed.
  25. If you can't make it for the event, you need to remove yourself from the Attendees list by clicking the X on the event page before the event starts.
  26. Upon finishing the hike, scan the registration QR code at the venue and check-out online. If you're offline, do so once you're getting online againotherwise a RM20.00 penalty will be imposed.
