It is important to know that:

  1. We need minimum 12 participants for this event, otherwise the event will not take place. In case we don't have 12 participants all paid sums will be refunded.
  2. The dates for the event are 03/05/2024 - 07/05/2024. Once we have the required number of participants, these dates will be confirmed.
  3. Make sure to arrive in Jeju on Day 0, 02/05/2024. If you arrive on Day 1, 03/05/2024, make sure you do so before 08:00 am. Our events start on Day 1 at 10:00 am.  
  4. Days 1, 2 and 3 are reserved for three hikes of the Olle long distance trail. The hikes are 7.5, 11.5 and 15.5 kilometres respectively.
  5. Day 4 is reserved for the real stuff: Mount Hallasan, a shield volcano of 1,947 metres above sea level. It is the highest point of the island (and South Korea). We will hike up via the Seongpanak trail and down via the Gwaneumsa trail - IBP 118.
  6. Day 5 is reserved for free and easy activities, your onward journey or return back to Kuala Lumpur.
  7. Expect pleasant temperatures during the day, between 15 and 22 degrees Celsius. Be prepared for rain, anytime, anywhere.
  8. We usually hike a few hours a day so you will have ample time to recuperate for the next day.
  9. You can leave your main luggage in the hotel and only bring a daypack for the hikes. You only have to carry what you need during the day. 
  10. Accommodation is based on twin sharing or deluxe twin sharing.
  11. Purchasing a travel insurance is compulsory. 
  12. The mobile number of the event hosts can be found in the e-mail which you will receive after submitting the Participation Form.
  13. Keep in mind that there is always a chance that we are not allowed to hike or climb certain areas due to dangerous conditions (eg landslide, earthquake, floods,...) or flight delay/cancellation - we cannot be held responsible for such cancellation.
