It is important to know that:
- There might be no flight that arrives on time early morning on 28/07/2024, hence you have to arrive in Tokyo latest by 27/07/2024. However our programme only starts on 28/07/2024, so lodging in Tokyo will be on your own account.
- Do not book a flight that departs from Tokyo before 01/08/2024 12:00pm.
- You will receive a online file with recommendations and further instructions upon full payment.
- Fuji climb
The Gotemba trail is the longest trail to Mount Fuji and has the highest elevation gain. The distance from the trailhead to Station 7.9 is around 9 kilometres - IBP 130.
The next morning, all hikers will have to follow the same hiking route to the summit. At the crater rim you can decide whether to hike the crater rim or not. We then follow the Gotemba trail down until the Hoei trail which will bring us via the Hoei crater to Fujinomya 5th Station.
Without the crater rim hike. 8 kilometres - IBP 113. 
With the crater rim hike. 11 kilometres - IBP 125.As mentioned, circling the crater rim is optional. We will brief you in detail once we are in the shelter on Mount Fuji.
- Expect huge temperature differences - close to 30 degrees at sea level and freezing conditions at the summit.

- Keep in mind that there is always a chance that we are not allowed to climb Mount Fuji due to dangerous weather conditions (eg typhoon, heavy rain, landslide, earthquake, health measures... ) - we cannot be held responsible for such cancellation.
