It is important to know that:

  1. We need minimum 10 participants for this event, otherwise the event will not take place. In case we don't have 10 participants all paid sums will be refunded.
  2. Be sure to arrive in Kathmandu on Day 1 - 15/11/2024. However our programme only starts on 16/11/2024. You can spend some free and easy time in Kathmandu and meet at the hotel in the evening.
  3. Meet-up place and time will be specified in the Recommendations file that you will receive about a month before the event starts.
  4. Do not leave Kathmandu on Day 7 - 21/11/2024. If something goes wrong during the transfer from Pokhara, you might miss your flight back to Kuala Lumpur. We have booked accommodation in Kathmandu for Day 7. The earliest return flight should be booked on Day 8 - 22/11/2024 .
  5. This trek brings us through medium to high mountainous areas, ranging between 2000 to 4500m above sea level.
  6. During the hike you will enjoy spectacular views of some of the highest mountains in the world Annapurna South, Annapurna I, Annapurna II, Machhapuchhre, Himchuli and Dome Glacier.
  7. Expect huge temperature differences, around 10-15 degrees during the day and around or below freezing point during the night.
  8. We usually hike 6 to 7 hours a day so you will have ample time to recuperate for the next day.
  9. A porter will carry your belongings (max 10-12 kg) throughout the trek. You only have to carry what you need during the day. What you don't need during the trek can be left in Kathmandu, either in the hotel or the office of the local organiser.
  10. Guest houses might charge for all the extras you might require i.e. hot shower, boiled drinking water, warm water, charging batteries for phone/camera, internet connection, etc.
  11. There are some community guest houses on this trail. The ownership of those lodges belongs to a village rather than individuals, with profits contributing to community projects such as funding schools.
  12. Purchasing a travel insurance is compulsory. Be sure that your insurance provider covers high altitude rescue operations.
  13. The mobile number of the event host can be found in the e-mail which you will receive after submitting the Participation Form.
  14. Keep in mind that there is always a chance that we are not allowed to climb certain areas due to dangerous conditions (eg landslide, earthquake, floods,...) or transport delay/cancellation - we cannot be held responsible for such cancellation.
