The likely schedule is as follows:  

1) Sunday 06/04/2025: Arrival day

  • Event starts mid-morning at Lombok International Airport. Assuming AirAsia does not change their flights, most of us will be flying in from KLIA on flight AK304. It is currently scheduled to arrive in Lombok at 09:40. If there are some flying in from Singapore, then it should be on flight TR258 arriving 10:40. 

  • Van transfer to Sembalun homestay, with stops for lunch and opportunity for quick shopping. Fruits are a popular choice.

  • Arrive Sembalun mid-afternoon, check in at homestay, and collect 2 bottles drinking water.

  • Free and easy afternoon/evening. Rest. Dip in pool. Explore surrounding orchards and farms.

  • Repack your bags: fill drinking bottles/bladders. Prepare daypacks (you carry), porter bags (porter carry), and left luggage (safe-keep in office while you hike).

  • Before dinner, hand over your porter bag and left luggage.

  • Dinner at homestay or restaurant TBC

  • After dinner: Safety briefing at homestay.

  • Overnight at homestay.

2) Monday 07/04/2025: Hike to Rim2

  • Breakfast at homestay.

  • Short briefing before starting hike of 6-8hr.

  • Lunch break ~1hr as Pos2. 

  • Arrive at Rim 2 campsite by late afternoon.

  • Early dinner at campsite.

  • Overnight in tent.

3) Tuesday 08/04/2025: Summit to lake

  • Light breakfast, then 03:00 hike to summit, possible to reach before sunrise.

  • Descend back to basecamp for late breakfast at 09:00-11:00.

  • Hike down to lakeside, reaching campsite by early to mid afternoon.

  • Lunch may be on the trail or at lakeside.

  • Free and easy afternoon.

  • Dinner at campsite.

  • Overnight in tent.

4) Wednesday 09/04/2025: Lake to forest

  • Late breakfast at campsite.

  • Hike down to forest campsite, with lunch along the way.

  • Arrive at forest campsite by mid-late afternoon.

  • Dinner at campsite.

  • Overnight in tent.

5) Thursday 10/04/2025: Mountain to island

  • Breakfast at campsite.

  • Hike to exit point.

  • Exit at Torean by lunch time.

  • Van transfer of 2hr to jetty

  • Ferry ride to Gili

  • Check in at hotel

  • Free and easy

  • Self dinner

  • Overnight at resort hotel

6) Friday 11/04/2025: Relax …

  • Breakfast at hotel.

  • Free and easy

  • Self lunch and dinner 

  • Overnight at resort hotel

7) Saty 12/04/2025: Home

  • Breakfast at hotel.

  • Check out from hotel

  • Ferry ride to Lombok

  • Van transfer to airport, with stops for lunch, shopping and tourist spots.

  • Flight home
