The likely schedule is as follows:
Day 0
- For those only joining for Gunung Trusmadi: Arrival in Kota Kinabalu airport and accommodation on your own
Day 1
- For those joining Gunung Sinsing as well: Van transfer from Tambunan Base Camp 1 to Trusmadi gate
- For those only joining for Gunung Trusmadi: Van transfer ay 06:00 am from Kota Kinabalu airport to Trusmadi gate
- Transfer to the trailhead with 4WD
- Hike to the rest house/dormitory on the lower slopes of Gunung Trusmadi
- Lunch and dinner at the rest house
- Overnight in dormitory
Day 2
- Early morning hike to Gunung Trusmadi summit - expect to start around 03:30am
- Reach the summit before sunrise
- Descend towards the rest house
- Lunch at the rest house
- Hike back to the trailhead
- 4WD transfer to Trusmadi gate
- Van transfer to Kota Kinabalu airport
- Leave Kota Kinabalu after 08:00 pm
