It is important to know that:

  1. We need 10 participants for this event, otherwise the event will not take place. In case we don't have 10 participants all paid sums will be refunded.
  2. Once we have the required number of participants, the event will be confirmed.
  3. Make sure to arrive in Chiang Mai on Day 1. The exact meet-up place and time will be provided in due time via the Recommendations File. Although there are no organised activities that day, we have booked accommodation for that night.
  4. We will spend two nights in the same ho(s)tel in Chiang Mai. Also the last night we will spend the night in the same ho(s)tel.
  5. In Mae Wang National Park we will spend two nights in rural villages. Comfort is basic.
  6. All hikes will be easy to moderate and we will hike as a group.
  7. All hikes will take place in a rainforest setting which is comparable to those in Malaysia. 
  8. We will perform a physical check of your mandatory items before the start of the first hike. Those who are not in the possession of ALL mandatory items will NOT be allowed to hike.
  9. Transfers to and from the trailhead will be with a van.
  10. Purchasing a travel insurance is compulsory. 
  11. The mobile number of the event host can be found in the e-mail which you will receive after submitting the Participation Form.
  12. Keep in mind that there is always a chance that we are not allowed to climb certain areas due to dangerous conditions (eg landslide, earthquake, floods,...) or flight delay/cancellation - we cannot be held responsible for such cancellation.
